on this post I wanted to be tell explore the ideas about the law of attraction and why it does not work in the way that is commonly taught.  Many of you will know this having tried to create events using affirmations etc so if you have explored the ideas around the law of attraction and found them wanting, this post may help you.

The more I work with these ideas in my own development the more I realise there are fundemental issues with the common approaches to the law of attraction and in all honesty the common aproaches can actually lead to more stress in a person’s life than before they uncovered the idea of the law of attraction: there can be a feeling of being left high and dry with only part of the puzzle uncovered and workable.

So here I would like to help you understand why a different approach will be beneficial to you.

The question I would ask is why do you want to create something else in your life other than you have now?   The answer is obvious, because you are not happy and you think you need something else, more money, health, a better relationship, a new relationship, what ever it is will make you happy.    However the fundemental issue here is this: the reason that you do not have what you want is that you are not happy with yourself NOW…and until you accept your perfection, beauty, grace, intelligence and love you will NEVER have what you want, the law of attraction will not work for you. 

The issue is that most have got these ideas the wrong way around: you must love yourself, your life and reality first, then your life will naturally be filled with events and experiences that you will enjoy.  Do you see how this is different?

The key to having whatever you want in your life is to stop wanting and to accept the perfection of where you are right now and in doing that you stop the grasping and build a better relationship between yourself and your reality. The law of attraction tells us that you get what you focus on and the issue here is that knowing about the law of attraction without accepting the perfection of where you are right now, without accepting your own goodness and the goodnes of reality means that your efforts are doomed to failure and greater frustrations.

My advice then right now is to STOP trying to create anything. Just stop and take a week to re-asses your approach if it has not been working for you.  If you find yourself frustated then stop. Then try this:

1. Learn to stay present in the moment, just commit to this practice and learn to appreciate your perfection and the perfection of your life right now in each moment:  feel how it feels to be you and allow those feelings to deepen if you can.

2. Slow down as much as you can and relax: forget about the future and the past: forget trying to create anything: savour the moment.

3. Become more aware of your feelings and thoughts as they arise in the moment and learn to accept them and explore them. Become interested in who you are and why you are feeling and thinking:  ask yourself who is the thinking these thoughts?

4. Accept the goodness and beauty, the perfection and wisdom of reality and then accept yourself fullyand completely and part of that goodness and beauty, the perfection and wisdom that is you.

5.  Recognise yourself and reality is one: if you think reality,spirit,god or whatever you want to call it is wonderful, inteligent, loving, kind, passionate, alive, compassionate and exists at depths of beauty beyond your imagination, then accept these as descriptions of yourself and feel what that means to you.

In stopping trying to create anything you accept everything and in doing that you can learn to understand and accept your own deserving and wonderful nature.  The more you do that the more reality will fill your life with abundance and beauty, bringing what you want the most: a deep and satisfying sense of your own nature that has roots from the deepest parts of reality.

Hi all,

I was talking to someone yesterday in a coaching session about using the law of attraction and was amazed by the resistence and the fear that they showed not this is a very common experience: a person likes the idea of the law of attraction but still makes no real or committed attempt to use it or master it.  My client showed all the traits of so many people that put no real effort into their own personal development or to use the law of attraction owing to their fear.  Law of attraction mastery is about removing the fears and creating the best understandings you can about what you think and how this effects your experience.

The challenge of using affirmations to change anything is this: the very fact you want to change it in the first place means that you have a limiting belief and behavior around this area and that until this is resolved weight affirmation will have no effect at all!

This is why simple weight affirmations will never work: the repetition of a phrase cannot dislodge the belief structure, this is why affirmations have their part to play in focusing energy and attention built cannot do the whole job alone.

People are overweight for a reason, quite simply and honestly they eat too much food for their needs. People also tend to make excuses for their weight but to use weight affirmations at all you must be completely honest and not blame being ‘big boned’ or ‘my dad was overweight so I am too’!

Using any excuse for your dilemma will simply cause you more issues. The fact is that you eat too much but the key is to understand why! This is the key to the kingdom of the natural healthy body and to mastering weight affirmations that work…

My Weight Affirmations Story

Let me give you an example, me. I had struggles with weight for a long time, too long to be fun and it was not until I realized why I was eating and felt compelled to be overweight did I resolve the issue. The reasons I will go through here are real and allowed me to drop 100 pounds in weight.

Here is my short but true story:

“I am short, well not short but also not very tall either, probably just less than average height. Now as a child I picked up very strongly than men should be ‘big and strong’. You can see what is coming right. I could not do anything about getting taller but I could do something about getting bigger, so I ate, a lot to fill the need to please my parent. This would have been ok but the pain and confusion came when I was getting ‘big and strong’, (of course I also felt compelled to get to the gym too) and the person who told me to get ‘big and strong’ also said that being overweight means you are ‘weak’! What a dilemma I was in, I was getting fatter but stronger to fulfill that unconscious need, but also being told I was weak and that,men should not be weak!’ So when I wanted to lose weight I felt too weak to because I was fat!! Stalemate.

It was not until I unpicked that confusing and impossible puzzle to please a parent did I remove the weight. The amazing this was that my parent then told me not to get too thin as I would get weak! This was told to me when I was near my target weight and sent me unconsciously into more confusion! I then had to resolve that idea too!”

So I hope you can see the causes of my feeling the need to eat and why no affirmation would ever change those ideas.

Remove your limiting ideas and see the weight affirmations work

Having worked with others with weight loss I can tell you similar stories that until the confusion around the body is resolved no affirmation will work. However when the struggle has ended, you can use weight affirmations and they will without doubt have the impact you want.

To accept you have the ability to create the life you want and to master the law of attraction is a personal and spiritual journey that is challenging so I would encourage you to get support and training.

Manifest Desires

The law of attraction is all about learning to manifest desires and dreams that you have in your life and here I am going to outline 7 law of attraction tips to help you manifest desires in any area of your life.  These essential  law of attraction tips are based upon 15 years of teaching others and exploring my own powers and abilities so I know that you take these ideas on board with an open mind you will be able to manifest your desires more quickly.  It is true to say however that leaning how to create the life you want and use the law of attraction takes time and effort, but with commitment anyone, including you can achieve the desires they have.

Manifesting Tip 1

Start from where you are and do not try to run before you can walk. By this I mean that you must accept where you are at.  Fully accept your life situation as it is but begin to accept that it is your beliefs that have created your circumstances and with a change of belief your experience can alter too.

Manifesting Tip 2

To manifest desires you must have some goals. Most people attempt to manifest without having goals and this gives the conscious mind nothing to work with. Make sure that you write down your desires and turn them into goals.  That way your ‘energy’ and mind will have something to work with.

Manifesting Tip 3

Be reasonable!  Too many people get carried away trying to create events that they do not really believe they can, there is no point in doing that so look at what you want and ask yourself if you really believe you can achieve those goals, it you do then go for it.

Manifesting Tip 4

Your beliefs create your experience so learn to work with your beliefs.  This is essential to your success so learning NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming or hypnosis will come in really handy when altering your beliefs.

 Manifesting Tip 5

The law of attraction is an understanding about the nature of reality so you will have to expand your awareness of how the world works.  This means that you cannot manifest desires with the old rules of the physical world: this journey requires change so get used to it.

Manifesting Tip 6

Do not let the law of attraction and learning to manifest desires take over every second of your life. You will have to do a lot of learning and personal exploration but have fun too. Sometimes I think it is best for people to get a hobby when they start with law of attraction so they have another outlet and do not get too obsessed!

Manifesting Tip 7

Be committed and do not give up: just as your old beliefs created where you are now, new beliefs will take over and create new experiences but using the law of attraction is a art form that requires commitment and practice.

If you want to use the law of attraction remember that you must operate within the physical world to even though you are redefining its rules and boundaries.  Enjoy every day and appreciate what you have.  The truth is that ‘you get what you focus on’ on praise what is good in your life and learn to change your beliefs in the areas that need changing. 

With practice you will manifest desires in every part of your life and use the law of attraction to create, enjoy and experience all that is best within you.

To master the ability to create the life you want and understand your true nature is a personal and spiritual journey that is challenging so I would encourage you to get support and training.

In the law of attraction literature there is a term called the art of allowing and this skill of allowing events to come into manifestation is an essential one if you are to learn how to create the life you want.  So what is the art of allowing and what is the secret to success with it?  In this article we will explore the art of allowing and the ideas around deliberate intent to help you understand them better.

When you want to create an event in your life you must master the skill of using deliberate intent, focusing on what you want, and art of allowing, letting it actually come in physical manifestation.  These tw0 skills are really the basis for the law of attraction.  If you can master the ability to create events within your mind and to encourage them to manifest you have mastered the attraction puzzle.  But how do you do that?  How do you set your creative ability free and use the art of allowing in your life?

Using The Art of Allowing

When you want to create an event in your life people call it attraction, the idea that you magnetically bring an event into your experience but the real power comes when you understand that there is no event to ‘attract’.  Now this may seem a little odd but the truth is the event that you are trying to attract must be formed within you first, within your own mind, within your emotions and imagination.  In a sense you must live it first inwardly and then you must learn to allow it to form within your physical environment: in a very real way then the art of allowing is an internal creation.

The secret to deliberate intent and the art of allowing is this: do not try to attract anything, instead form it within yourself and encourage it to form in your life.  It is quite a ‘mind trick’ but a very powerful one.

Once you have formed the event with you, you want it to become physical rather than simply a thought and so this is where the art of allowing comes in.  The secret here is to know that once you have formed the event within your mind, and you must do this lightly, almost playfully, you then need to give enough energy to the process to ‘form’ it in physical time.  The secret to the art of allowing is to give just ten minutes a day to the process.  Sit for those minutes just focusing on what you want as if you have it now with the expectation of its formation in your life. Expectation is key!  You must also add into the mix this phrase “ I allow myself to create this experience for myself and am in complete co-operation with all aspects of myself, my conscious and unconscious mind are in unison in creating and allowing this event” That last sentence is the key and the secret to the art of allowing because it brings in the conscious and unconscious mind into play.

The Secret To The Art of Allowing

The secret to the art of allowing is this: create expectation and co-operation with yourself by bringing together the conscious and unconscious aspects of your mind. If your unconscious mind does not ‘allow’ this event in your life, go back and explore your beliefs about what you are attempting to create.  You must master the art of allowing to create something in your life.

Having explored and worked with these ideas for many years and taught them since 1997 I can tell you that very few are successful in creating the life they want with the law of attraction and that is because they have not been skilled enough in deliberate intent, the art of allowing or both.  These two skills encompass the conscious creator ability to choose the future.  I would encourage you to take time to explore and practice these ideas because without them you will struggle but with them you have the power to create the most wonderful life you could imagine.

1. Be fully committed to own self development, everything else must dropped and the highest priority must be the process of spiritual and personal development that will allow to master your creative ability.
   
2. Patience is key because you can rush reality and it is with reality that you must ally yourself with.  Although you must committed and focused you must also be ready to go with the flow and relax into the process and unfoldment when needed.
   
3. Aggression is needed throughout the process, but a loving aggression.  Imagine you are a beautiful plant opening up to the world or a woman giving birth, or a powerful storm.  There is aggression everywhere and you must be willing to push the barriers of your own consciousness even when you are scared to.
   
4. In line with loving aggression you must have the commitment of a warrior, a person who will never be thrown of the path to their goal.  A warrior of creativity and love, will use whatever they can to achieve their goal as long as it is line with the best conditions of reality.
   
5. Sensitivity must used to become aware of your relationship with yourself, your body and the reality that you are forming.  You must develop strong intuitive senses that can lead you beyond the five sense world as well as intuit information that comes from the deeper realms of reality that you will be working with.
   
6. You must have the power to take on board the most life changing concepts known to man.  You must develop strong purpose and reason alongside the ability to let all barriers to your growth fall away.  To understand the nature of reality you must have the power o let it all go and not think you are going crazy.
   
7. You must be committed to your growing awareness: accelerated law of attraction mastery is all about expanding your awareness and this must be your commitment.  You need to be curious about yourself, about every aspect of your life and view you physical experience and your own feedback system that will help you see where your awareness needs to grow.

 As well as these concepts above you must develop a strong sense of trust and faith in yourself and reality too.  If you do not trust reality and learn to co-operate with it you will not master the law of attraction.  Reality, the consciousness that forms your existence is loving, kind, strong, wise, powerful and aggressive and so you must become what reality is. 

Through aligning yourself with reality you gain an accelerated mastery of the law of attraction as you are able to direct reality yourself, to merge and be what it is.  In the simplest of terms you must become what reality is and to do that you must understand what reality is, how it operates and in doing so your self awareness expands and you ability to use the law of attraction responds in kind.

Accelerated law of attraction mastery is about aligning yourself with who you really and that cannot be rushed.  of course you can quicken the pace of your expansion but you must also learn to enjoy the journey and explore the connections that exists within yourself and within the multidimensional nature of reality too.

Your Cosmic Law of Attraction Resources

Connecting to Your Broader Self:   so what it the broader self that we are talking about here? Well for want of a better phrase resource one is in fact yourself, but the self that eternal and has its reality outside of the physical reality.  You see your identity is not limited to the physical reality you know, in fact your broader identity exists in limitless ways so it is true to say that you are ‘part’ of your soul.  In this way you can recognize that other parts of your soul exists outside of the reality that you can experience through the five senses.  It is important then to acknowledge and begin to experience this broader and deeper side of yourself.

Psychic Communication:  if you have read anything or had an experience of how your thoughts attract events and opportunities in your life you may have wondered how did that experience get arranged and who arranged it?  Well this is where psychic communication comes into play.  I am not talking about the psychic awareness that we think is a bit of a joke and quite limited, I am talking about a communication ability that is beyond anything we could ever consciously imagine.   So recognize that when you have a belief you are actually psychically communicating with others and other aspects of yourself to ensure that all the arrangements are made that create the cosmic law of attraction.  Knowing that you can consciously choose to communicate with others with your thoughts and bring more rewarding experiences into your life.  Give it go for a few weeks and so how it works out..

Consciousness and Cosmic Energy: the true power to create what you want does not come from this physical reality: this reality is a result of that power and so to create what you want there is no point in looking for power here.  The reality that we think of as physical is where we get to focus the power, to direct it in specific and creative ways but the key is to recognize that the power is ‘cosmic’ or originating from beyond this reality even though we experience it here too. 

Next time you want to create something, choose to imagine that you are director of the experience, the producer and creator but that the power of creation comes from that deeper part of you and that your role is simply to direct and play your part.  Keep it simple, choose to direct the energy toward a goal, trust the feedback you get and take the obvious opportunities when they arise..you could be amazed!

Work with the cosmic law of attraction every day!

So there we have three useful and new law of attraction resources that you can use to create the life you want.  For anyone learning how to consciously create their experience these resources, used  with the awareness of their origin, will help you get a feeling of what it is to be a conscious creator and use the law cosmic law of attraction. 

I would encourage you to try out these resources, take them for a test run and see how you get on and remember to have some fun along the way too.
