Weight Affirmations

The challenge of using affirmations to change anything is this: the very fact you want to change it in the first place means that you have a limiting belief and behavior around this area and that until this is resolved weight affirmation will have no effect at all!

This is why simple weight affirmations will never work: the repetition of a phrase cannot dislodge the belief structure, this is why affirmations have their part to play in focusing energy and attention built cannot do the whole job alone. Understand how to use weight affirmations!

People are overweight for a reason, quite simply and honestly they eat too much food for their needs. People also tend to make excuses for their weight but to use weight affirmations at all you must be completely honest and not blame being ‘big boned’ or ‘my dad was overweight so I am too’!

Using any excuse for your dilemma will simply cause you more issues. The fact is that you eat too much but the key is to understand why! This is the key to the kingdom of the natural healthy body and to mastering weight affirmations that work…

My Weight Affirmations Story

Let me give you an example, me. I had struggles with weight for a long time, too long to be fun and it was not until I realized why I was eating and felt compelled to be overweight did I resolve the issue. The reasons I will go through here are real and allowed me to drop 100 pounds in weight.

Here is my short but true story:

“I am short, well not short but also not very tall either, probably just less than average height. Now as a child I picked up very strongly than men should be ‘big and strong’. You can see what is coming right. I could not do anything about getting taller but I could do something about getting bigger, so I ate, a lot to fill the need to please my parent. This would have been ok but the pain and confusion came when I was getting ‘big and strong’, (of course I also felt compelled to get to the gym too) and the person who told me to get ‘big and strong’ also said that being overweight means you are ‘weak’! What a dilemma I was in, I was getting fatter but stronger to fulfill that unconscious need, but also being told I was weak and that,men should not be weak!’ So when I wanted to lose weight I felt too weak to because I was fat!! Stalemate.

It was not until I unpicked that confusing and impossible puzzle to please a parent did I remove the weight. The amazing this was that my parent then told me not to get too thin as I would get weak! This was told to me when I was near my target weight and sent me unconsciously into more confusion! I then had to resolve that idea too!”

So I hope you can see the causes of my feeling the need to eat and why no affirmation would ever change those ideas.

Remove your limiting ideas and see the weight affirmations work

Having worked with others with weight loss I can tell you similar stories that until the confusion around the body is resolved no affirmation will work. However when the struggle has ended, you can use weight affirmations and they will without doubt have the impact you want.

To accept you have the ability to create the life you want and to master the law of attraction is a personal and spiritual journey that is challenging so I would encourage you to get support and training.
